Mid term break is now over~!

Assalamualaikum n hola once again people.. so sorry for letting my so-not-pretty blog just like that..

I am not that busy like business people..but somehow I have other things to do which does not include me update the blog..

anyway, a week has past just like that..and for the past a week now I have began doing my final project, assignments n trying to do some script for the role play which will be role tomorrow..

o dear o dear...Im not fully prepared for that..*unfortunately..

and so...about the past this week of mid term break...I didnt say that I use all of the time to only do my assignments and all..I did hang out with ma family, my friends...not only for entertainment, but we did go to this cool place...at Subang...at the Saujana Kuala Lumpur..5 star hotel resort n country club..went there for the sake of this final project which me n ma friends will be presenting in class for subject Safety n security in hospitality industry..

carry on...yesterday, there's 2 event or more..which held at PWTC n Mid Valley Exhibition Center..at the PWTC held this Education Fair n International Shoe Festival..talk about lots of people..not as much as the event happen at Mid Valley Exhibition Center...but not that much of things that Im interested in..since im not yet finish my Diploma..

and so now, I'm thinking of making myself an actual resume..for future reference..in case there's a job for me in the future...and most likely I use my SPM certificate and ask for a clerk position at the Bank..aha..

and most probably I end up using this picture in my resume...what do u think???

do u think i'm accepted for what position...do tell me..

Hello dear bloggers, How are you?

Happy Eid Mubarak to all Muslims that celebrate it and Happy Holidays to all

I bet some of you are seriously happy eating meats and lots and lots of meats this Eid..

Usually the Eid Mubarak starts with

me gets up early and took my bath and get ready to go to the nearby Mosque..

but this Eid I didnt went to the mosque...

I stay home and dress pretty..well not that pretty lor..

then had breakfast ( a light breakfast which it turn out to be heavy..hurm..)

then head to Jitra at my cousin house

and eat.. there got Beriyani Rice, Rendang Chicken, Curry Chicken and Tempoyak

after that snap some pic..

and after that we went to my mom's friend house...

very nice family..

Second Day of Eid Mubarak

the flower which has bloom on the day of Eid..

at my house in Sintok..

since I sleep over at Jitra, my old house...

my family came to Jitra and then me n my sisters went to our aunt house at Taman Permai

they have an open house..

mostly for relatives..

but my mom and both kak long and quratul ain didnt go because mom is busy with taking care of Quratul Ain..she's sick..high fever..which that morning I took her to the nearby clinic where I got wet for trying to protect her from the rain and yet I got headache for that

owh well...

then my family head to Alor Star where we went to Pizza Hut and order well stuff

I didn't know how my stomach can accept all the foods..

but I was happy since I like mushroom soup now..haha

okay2 I know..I'm getting fat-Er...yeah so..

I eat a lot gain weight of 50 kg..

so deal with it!!

and so after the deelicious meal which my sister Najmie treat us..

we went to Sentosa since Najmie want to buy herself a new labtop

she's going for Asus.

and then there was the envy part in me that says..

"Untungla...taun bile mau dapat labtop nie kan..asyik pinjam orang punyer jer.."

owh well...envy between sisters..thats like normal thing..

but we get over with it pretty quick since we understand the situation we are in..

then its time to say goodbye to my little no so little to me since she is wayyyy to tall in the family..and a big cute for the size..but yet she's the nice one that follow my order,,,

lolz!!

I love you sister...hehe..

anyway, hug n kiss here and there and so long sis...

and head back to Jitra again n play with Quratul Ain..

she's already recover from her fever after ate KFC...

okay spoil kids nowdays..:-)

I was extremely busy with my life as a student..

I had a mid term exam from 31 tp 4 th November and on 4th November at 9 pm I head back to Kedah from Kl...very2 busy..

Im sure some of you are tied up with the shift of work and now piss for not having an extra day of off day right..especially to those that works like a robot..
okay Im just stating this stuff about my best friend Ain..sorry dear!!!

anyway, lets move on with the exact topic

Yes, finally my first EVER assignment that Im so thrill on doing so much of course is about what I like most about are things that related to foods and beverages...and now you know why Im taking course Hotel Management and Hotel and Catering...

and so...the question goes like this..

"A customer has approached your hospitality operation requesting a quotation for an event. The customer has requested that you come up with a themed event for 300 pax. The following are the details that have been asked for by the customer:

• the event have a five star, six course Western set menu
• the event provide five star, professional service
• the event be held at a prestigious location
• the event will have five star entertainment

"The customer only has a maximum budget of RM85 000, and your operation MUST make at least 40% for this event.


and so I thought..hurm....what kind of place that is suitable for this kind of event..
If Im the customer, I would really like my event to be held at night...because its much more cooler at night...and the second thing is because I like lights so much..so I was thinking that I might consider doing the event at the lake..

the theme could be a black and white or black and red..hurm still haven't make up my mind yet but it must be something easy to work with
the food and beverage of course I must choose something that is interesting, prestigious and I must careful count the cost so that it is within the budget and so I thought of the French Western Set Menu...for example "Chicken Breast Filled with Prawns and Avocado served with Seasonal Greens and Mushroom Sauce

and then this is not a individual assignment so I cannot go all out alone...I need to seat and discuss with my group mate and all..the due date is on 18th November..so wish me luck!!!

I am so relieve after knowing that I still have some time to recalled back what I've learned

lately, I've been depressed, hurt, anxious, sad, happy and whatever feelings that we will have during the period of not adjusting to the so-called-environment

mid term exam dates has been changed to early next month
Alhamdulillah...
still have some time to study and recall what I've learned...
which I try to take some time to study
but that is after I have all my assignment done to be able to do so
this is crazy...the first thing in every week you will be assign to do assignment or may be going for practical and teory class...
and the next minutes you will participate in a tutorial class just to be alert at all the task given before you departed to do your event
next thing you know that next week each class you attend for quiz
then the next class you will learn something new...which is fine with me lorh...
anyway, next week I will be participating in opening a booth with my classmate to search for a participant that are willing to join us with the event to Genting
the problem with this event is....
it is not settle yet and we just have about 5 weeks to prepare..
this is insane people!
before that I have to complete a report
a report which I don't know anything about it...
well...like what my mom always say...."refer to your lecturer"
and I will go..."yes mom...."
fine...I'll go and see her after I settle some of the given task
and the due date to submit it is just around the corner..

I'm soooooo going to promote this to everyone I know and I will barged in to any students I don't even care now since this event will be half of my freakin' marks for event management

for event management I have to prepare flyers and brochure since Genting Highland is my final project event for this subject and plus 15% comes from this project so I need to do my best
RM 140.oo to go there...just a day trip plus the cost for transportation, the theme park ticket, buffet lunch, games (treasure hunt in the haunted house)

interested?????

still I am not satisfied with the reasons given by the assistant manager
I asked him about the treasure haunt tinggy...since I'm not just afraid in getting in there to find a treasure but the most fear of all is just MAYBE I could get grope by someone because we all know that when we are in the dark things can happen you know and I am not going to be responsible if it happened to one of my customer...its the BIG DEAL for me as a woman I have to bring this up...

this is the problem when I was in the event committee...

its not just for me
I'm defending my tribe here (whatever that means)
next week I'll be busy with promoting this event and I will be at Level 8 Havella building giving out flyers...

okay, I need to cool down a bit..
every time it came to Wednesday I had a problem of getting worried about stuff
there's two class on that day
which is Event Management and Academy Reading & Writing
and the students especially from the Academy Class is like their English in 100% slang
I felt as stupid as can be sometimes for example last night class...
miss made us make an essay and the title is
who is a better lover? man or woman?
okay...my English is sooooo simple compared to those students in my class...
their words is so nice and beautiful...
we had to read out loud what we just wrote
very embarrassing....SERIOUSLY!

guess what???

my event is in the top 2 after voting from 17 other events...

seriously I'm not bragging but actually which I just did..

I didn't even have the time to present it like I wanted

as the lecturer came in the class I thought that she would say that who ever did not present will be presenting today

so I waited

but it turn out that she didn't even say so

she start the class with the first chapter for this subject

I was thinking after a 5 minute break I will go and told her about it

then before the 5 minute, she gave a task to chose the event committee

so she leaves the class to vote

so we did the vote

she's not that happy because I killed some of her time

but it was just as a speed of a rabbit running to the finished line

I just did it for 2 minutes

and yes....I didn't present anything fascinating like what Aini hopes for

but at the end madam and my classmates seems to be very interested in my event

and maybe because of the beautiful place

and the lowest budget

that somehow attract them to pick my event as the top 5

preparing a presentation for next week

for Event Management subject, My Madam Nazira gave a task for each of the student to perform our presentation next week on Wednesday as our first assessment..
throughout the topic that she will teach for the whole class this semester wiuld be 2 hours for lectures and an hour for a tutorial...
hoping that there would be a break between lecture and tutorial...
so as for the assessment marks..
it would be
for 2 quiz 15%
Assignment 20%
Mid term 15%
and Final 50%

as my first assignment 5% is given for this task..
so each students must think of an event that are connected to a hotel
hurm..
or it can be involve in any incidence
or make a surprise party.........????
seriously I'm kinda confious here...
the task is sort of we have to create an interesting event, make a proposal,
as for the venue...it can be in KLMU or out or whether its in KL or outside KL

I am thinking on putting the Berjaya Hills, Bukit Tinggi as my choice of event
since I've been to this place and I'm happy to make this for my task...
